The opportunity here is visibility: 80 well known names push a question that usually stays with lawyers, namely who owns the sound of a voice. The risk is that an open letter moves nothing legally while cloning tools are already free and everywhere.
Anyone building with voice AI should document consent properly now rather than wait for rules that are years away at best.
