Actress Mia Goth says it’s ‘incomprehensible’ that Instagram allowed an AI image of her to spread
TL;DR

An Instagram post from the account miagoth_ - marked with a blue verified checkmark - quickly spread. The post shows Goth in a T-shirt that reads "MY EX IS MY BIGGEST FAN" in bold black letters.
Nauti's Take
Social and news teams should put viral images of real people through a short verification workflow: inspect the original account, run a reverse-image search, and wait for a second reliable source. A blue check may authenticate the account, but it does not establish where an individual image came from.
Document that gap before republishing anything.
