In an announcement on Wednesday, Meta says you can share your window with its AI chatbot, which can provide suggestions, answer questions, or create content based on what's on your screen. Meta AI on the Mac also supports dictation across all apps.

Screen sharing with the assistant is genuinely useful and an advantage over constant copy-paste, especially for tables and error messages. The risk sits in the same place: a model that sees your screen also sees customer data, password managers and open tickets.
Teams testing the app at work should grant window sharing per window rather than leaving it on permanently.
