Shared safety standards create a real opportunity: vulnerabilities and attack patterns could circulate between labs far faster, and smaller providers would benefit from that too. The risk is that safety cooperation turns into coordinated pricing, higher barriers to entry, and weaker transparency.
The practical test is which information actually gets shared, who receives access, and whether independent audits are built in.
