Apple is all in on AI — its own and everyone else’s

TL;DR

Apple CEO John Ternus. | Photo: Bloomberg via Getty Images Apple's latest earnings show how it's continuing to capitalize on the AI boom without busting its budget on the infrastructure spending consuming its competitors. Overall, Apple posted its best-ever fiscal year for revenue and earnings per share. iPhone and Mac sales continued to grow strongly in the fourth quarter.

Nauti's Take

For small teams, Apple’s approach is mainly a cost question: scaling an AI product does not require financing a private data-center race. Before expanding a new workflow, test variable API, storage, and data costs, along with dependence on external models.

Apple’s results suggest that hardware margins and AI investment should be evaluated separately.
