The poll measures trust more than the labour market itself, and that signal has value: anyone building products or communication for under 35s can no longer argue the scepticism away. The problem is the gap between perceived and actual AI job loss, since research points to a much smaller share.
That is an opportunity for employers willing to spell out which tasks AI takes over and which it does not.
