Delegation between agents inside the model would be genuinely useful, since it replaces part of the orchestration teams currently build and maintain themselves. The evidence is thin though: one secondary report cannot carry an architecture decision, and it stays unclear how approvals and data access for subagents would be controlled.

Until OpenAI confirms it, this is a research signal, not a reason to replan.
