Mark Zuckerberg Secretly Training an AI Agent to Do CEO Job

TL;DR

Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly training an AI agent internally that could take over his CEO duties at Meta.

Key Points

  • The project is said to be running quietly, with no official announcement or details about the underlying technology.
  • The report, from Futurism, raises questions about whether AI agents could soon fill executive roles at major corporations.
  • Meta's heavy investment in AI infrastructure and its own Llama model family makes the scenario more technically credible than it would have been two years ago.

Nauti's Take

Of course Zuckerberg is training an AI CEO – who else could explain the Metaverse at this point? Jokes aside, this is not a coincidence.

Meta has been building agent infrastructure for years, and it would be naive to think the executive suite is somehow exempt. Whether the project is as advanced as the report implies or still an early exploration is impossible to judge from the outside.

But the direction is clear: companies that build AI agents will deploy them internally too – and CEOs are no longer off-limits.
