Google AI Studio 3.0 Builds Full-Stack Apps for Free
TL;DR
Google AI Studio Build can generate web apps from prompts with a React frontend, Node.js server, npm packages and a server-side Gemini key. Google still labels this as Build mode, not cleanly as AI Studio 3.0. For internal tools, the useful part is integration: Firestore, Google sign-in, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive and Calendar can be wired through Google Workspace APIs. Apps can be shared, exported to GitHub or deployed to Cloud Run.
Nauti's Take
This is strong for the first usable draft of a mini CRM, dashboard or Workspace helper. It gets risky when teams treat the generated app as finished production software.
The sensible test is small: build an internal tool with harmless data, inspect the GitHub export, set cost limits and only then discuss real customer data. The Geeky Gadgets framing reads a bit brochure-like, but the official Google pieces are relevant enough to test.
Briefingshow
