Head to head builds like this are useful because they turn time and cost into numbers instead of vibes, which is exactly what the coding agent debate lacks. The limit is scope: one task run by one tester says little about other stacks, and prompt style plus model version shift the result a lot.
Treat it as a starting point and re-measure on your own project before committing.
