Matching Sonnet 5 on coding while burning fewer tokens and tool calls is a real advantage for daily Copilot users: faster runs and lower cost per task. The catch is list-price billing and benchmarks that come from GitHub itself, with independent comparisons still missing.
Business and Enterprise admins should note that new models switch on automatically and review the model policy before teams build habits around it.
