For small teams, this is first a data and dependency issue. For every AI investment, check how much goes to infrastructure, model access, and ongoing usage, which vendors sit underneath, and how easily you could switch.
The Axios chart signals a trend, but it does not yet tell you what your own costs or productivity gains will look like.
